RFID Blockers Iz ur humanz credit cards protected? Does dey knows about RFID (radio frequency identification) chips dat are in almost every credit/debit card out der des days?

Dem RFID chips can be easily scanned from a distance wif da right reader (and crooks hab da right readers). Heck, H2 & I r gonna even be able to buildin one ourselves just fur fun and to check wot r little Arduino can do.

We gotta keep r humanz moneys safe so dey can keep us in kibble and toys!

Here iz Human2’s review of da BlockIt RFID Blocking Sleeves we got to try fur dis here review.

I like the idea behind these but I am just not that “wowed” by these (or possibly any cardboard solution). They just don’t fit inside my wallet card slots. Perhaps I need to look into a different kind of wallet to be able to enjoy the security these are supposed to give us.

I say supposed to as I do not have access (yet) to a RFID reader. Once I do I will of course up date this review.

I was given a sample of both styles (1 top loading and 1 side loading) to give my honest review. Personally, I prefer the side loading as they are easier to get in and out of the wallet. But since my wallet will only house these in the pocket behind my card slots I may have to go with the top loading. Although the side loading will be nice if I decide to stick the card in my bill slot (only place they fit in my wallet, sadly.

Each sleeve almost doubles the thickness of the cards making your wallet more bulky.
