Da Monsters Finally Met Scruffy McGee

do u remember awhile back I showed u all pikshurs of Piper playin wif Human2’s Star Trek teddy bears? Well dat wuz bad, but it wuz our first time wif a kitteh dat liked plush toys too. To saving da bears frum further harm H2 buyed Piper her own plush toy. A Lamp Chop dog toy (dat right I sed dog toy). It has da same soft floofy plush az dem bears so we thought mehbe herz would like it and herz did. Herz carried Lamb Chop all ovah da house and take it up to bed too. So when Scruffy comed to visit. We were sure herz would like him too.

Da utter morning I woked up wif a Scruffy cuddled next to ma belly in da humanz bed. I am finkin it had to be dat dern Piper. Seems like herz likes Scruffy so I guess hims iz stayin.

Who dis Scruffy guy you ask? He da cutest plushy rat u ever gonna seed. He stopped by to visit Human2 at werk n dey all fell for the guy. DogToys.com had a naming contest and haz “sponsored” him az a traveler. He currently hangin out wif sum of ma pals like @fuzzyFreya @LilyLuWhoT @BusyButtons and @Kyba. You can follow his many adventures on da DogToys.com blog (he haz his own section der) and even more travelin fun wif ToyVoyagers.com (he headin to Germany first).

He gonna be a world travelin rat like ma pal Edgar daKitty. U can even “host” Scruffy urself too. Just go buys a Scruffy (or 2 or 3) takes sum pikshurs and share dem wif DogToys.com and dey will get you added to der blog. Let’s see how far dis rat can go!

Did u guys hear dat Hartz iz continuing der partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project. Now dats a great way to spend Memorial Days! In da first two years of der partnership with the WWP, dey have donated $265,000. *hi paw*

The WWP, which began in 2002, has now evolved into a full rehabilitative effort for United States veterans. With Memorial Day 2012 just around the corner, we wanted to let you know about our combined efforts to honor the men and women who have served our country.

The WWP is renowned for its canine therapy and support dog programs, and we are firm believers in the deep and meaningful impact these programs have on both veterans and their canine best friends.

Pets Alive Saves ALL NYC Kittens

I just gotted a press release dat is both amazin and heart breakin at da same time. A New York NO-KILL rescue, Pets Alive, stepped in to save 64 cats (60 kittens n 4 mom cats) that would have been put down by NYC animal shelters.

We applawds dem for savin dem kittehs! (it iz so heart breakin when we see da tweets n da facebook posts sayin dis kitteh on DEATH ROW or to be killed TODAY) To knows dat so many lives were saved iz PAWSUM.

Sum of da kittehs r sicky, like Mitzee, wot might hab to lose an eye n still haz possibility of losin site in utter eye too. But once healthy dat not a problem. Just look at how PAWSUM ma pal Homer (da blind wundercat) iz.

Dis how da monsters celebrates being official fambly members .

We did officially adopting dem from One By One Cat Rescue on April 14, 2012. (I made sure dey runned a background check on da humanz afore agreein to dis adoption.)

Dey iz no longer foster monsters. Dey r just regular monsters now.

Caturday will be two weeks. I can no believe we habbin a two week anniversary fur dem. *Shakes hed*
