Time Tunnel….er…I means Tunnel Time

We got this pawsum [amazon_link id=”B0044ECESE” target=”_blank” ]cat tunnel[/amazon_link] frum one of human1’s co-workers fur xmas last year. It gets put away every once in awhile so when it comes back out it iz just like a new toy all ovah agin.

It iz perfect size fur dem monsters but I can play in it too, mostly. But I do fink cat tunnel manufacturers shuld fink about makin a bigger vershun fur us bigger kittehs. Just meowin.

I can still hab fun pouncin on da monsters from da outside, but I finks it fun runnin thru it all a heckin, but I can no do dat. Just dem lil monsters fit in it to run like crazy cats thru da tunnel. Da monsters need a thwokkin thru da tunnel and sumtimes dey even needs to be sat on (see da photos below. MOL)

OMC, sumtimes I finks ma humanz r crazy.

Okai I dunt really means dat, but Human2 comes home wif all des toys dat r fur kids not kittehs, but herz lets us plays wif dem. Wot up wif dat?

Dis time herz comed home wif sum [amazon_link id=”B003IT5NHK” target=”_blank” ]HEXBUGS[/amazon_link]. Da first one wuz a free one dat wuz actually a Target gift card. We watched it run around for hours. We actually killed da battery watchin dat buggy run around in dat big bowl. Dem bugs need to be contained. When it wuz on da floor we nearly lost it!

So da next time herz wented to da store n saw [amazon_link id=”B002R7IK74″ target=”_blank” ]HEXBUGS[/amazon_link] on sale herz grabbed a set. Habbin da track really gibs us a better chance of catchin dem buggies!

Two weeks ago I did send Edgar and his pal Scruffy McGee off to One By One to volunteer der time to halp wif da 1×1 newsletters. It wuz only fitting since me and Edgar r featured right in da center of wif a full page article!

We did even post da whole newsletter iffen you would likes to readin about us doing r fundraisers fur One By One. Like last week when we rushed to get sponsors for der biggest fund raisin event of da year da Basket Bingo.

We did raise enough to sponsor one basic basket ($75 plus $20 extra which will go to da kittehs az well) not our goal of 2 special baskets but it still good. Will halp gets dem kittehs at one by one da vet attenshuns dey needs. Plus we might sends H2 out to dat Bingo event to see wot it all about.

So we wrote out a check n sent H2 ovah to da adoption day dis past Caturday to deliver it. While der herz had to visit wif sum kitties too of course!

Bubble Gun plus Catnip Bubbles equals FUN.

Or so da monsters fink.

Human2 brought home dat [amazon_link id=”B002PYZHOS” target=”_blank” ]bubble blower[/amazon_link] from Toys R Us along wif sum catnip bubbles made by Cosmic Catnip. Da monsters came running to seed wot da noise wuz n were fascinated by da bubbles comin out of dat light up gun. Phoebe sat back and watched da bubbles fall, but Piper dove right in and pounced on dem bubbles.

Now every time herz hears dat gun herz comes runnin no matter where herz iz in da house.

Here are sum videos. Da last one iz showin how much I lub dem NOT! I haz to hiss n carry on around dem bubbles. I a big ole silly kitteh.

Girls lub dem catnip bubbles. Human2 lubs da bubble blower it saves a lot of huffin n puffin.

I knows u all know dat ma fishy wishy iz ma favorite toy in all da werld right? Well I finded somefin dat mite be just az good. It iz ma new caterpillar toy and az u can seed in dis photo I am lubbin it to death.

Der sum powerful good nip in dis cat toy I tells ya. It iz made in da USA by a company called Pet Candy (n dats a good name fur dem cause dis stuff iz like candy to me). Just like ma fishy this caterpillar iz all nip ders no fluff inside him just nip, nip, glorious nip. It iz longer den fishy wishy so I can really get in sum good bunny kicks too!

I hab also had to chase off da monsters cause while I wuz playing Phoebe tried to get caterpillars antennas and dats not rite. It iz ma toy!

Disclosure: Dis wuz purchased by Human2 from werk (CatToys.com) where herz gotted an employee discount n I gotted a pawsum cat toy. Dat doz not means dat dey buyed my opinion. If I did not likes it I would not be lickin its. Period.

It has come to our attenshuns dat One By One Cat Rescue is still in need of sponsors for der Bag & Basket Bingo event dey r holding to halp raise funds for all da kittehs in der care.

And we wanna halp. So I did starts a ChipIn for One By One. We are trying to raise enough moneys to sponsor 2 baskets, iffen we get more den needed we will of course donate da extra moneys rite to One By One.

Da Bingo iz on August 12, 2012 so we needs to gets dem der moneys ASAP.

So I am going to try and get $250 by Friday! Please halp iffen u can.

Dis iz one of der bestest fund raisers n we wanna make it even betterer.

Selling Sum Fings For Charity

Today Human2 and I put a bunch of scifi-ish fings up on eBay.com to halp clean out da pooter room and make sum moneys for charity. We set up the auctions to actually take 10% off selling price and gib it to Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary.

Since dey r all scifi-ish but it iznt SCIFIpawty time yet, we thought dat wot ever is left affer da ebay/paypal fees we will add dat to our collekshuns for One by One Cat Rescue. Sadly we fink dat da sale prices will be so low dat only Blind Cat Rescue will see any of dis money, but a kitteh can hope right?

Iffen we do okay wif dis, we will continue to sell off sum fings round da house collectibles, toys, lego (yeah I gonna gib up sum of ma lego sets…hai it fur a good cause).

Last year ma pal Cokie the Cat did first tells me about dis fun event. And himz had fun. Dey held der 2nd event dis past week and IAMS did sponsor it. Here is more about da event n sum pikshurs for u to looks at…

The stars turned out for the 2nd annual CATS for Cats charity event on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. IAMS was the proud sponsor of the one-night-only celebrity benefit concert staged from T.S. Eliot’s whimsical letters to his godchildren which became “[amazon_link id=”0151686564″ target=”_blank” ]Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats[/amazon_link],” an archive that much later became the inspiration for the musical CATS by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

100% of funds raised provide supportive funds for Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats (www.kittybungalow.org), a 501c3 nonprofit all-volunteer organization that rescues, neuters, socializes and find homes for feral kittens while providing outreach and Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR), as well as free and low cost spay neuter services in the underserved Los Angeles areas.

Replacing the Dangle Mouse on da Cat Tree

I dunt knows iffen u remembers but when we gotted our cat tree fur xmas it had two (count em TWO) mice danglin off of da top tiers for dem monsters to play wif.

Well soon affer gettin da cat tree (FANK U SO MUCH SANTA PAWS), dem monsters pulled da mices rite off da tree!

So it wuz time to put a new mouse on da tree but do we just tie sumfin to da lil bungee strings or add sumfin new altogetter?

We decided to leave da lil white bungees der cause dem silly monsters still play wif dem even wif out a toy on da end. Silly girls.

But Human2 thought dey still needed a swingin, danglin mousey so herz tooked a Play-N-Squeak mouse wand and cut da wand off (it wuz one of da girls favorite wands I hope dey no minds). Den herz used a load staple gun fing n attached dat new mousey where da one old mousey was while da girls n Scruffy watched. Dem monsters lubbed it!

Now cat tree almost like new agin…except fur dat sisal rope dat keeps comin off dat bottom post. Guess H2 gonna haz to completely rewrap dat post. I dunt finks herz can save it da way it iz.
