And this book is even better than the previous book cause: 1) it is about opposites and not icky math & counting like dat doggy book and 2) it is full of kitties!

Wot iz Klout u askin? To be honest I am not totally sure. I knows it takes a score from each of ma social medias and averages dem out to gib u a Klout score. Dey hab recently changed how u interacts on Klout (at least I can no longer pick my influencers and talk directly to furrends on der any more not dat I ever did). Now it seems to be a bit more like Triberr where you can share other peoples content which if it is popular can change ur Klout score. Some of da stories I hab tweeted about hab been through Klout (I would not hab seen dem otherwise).

But wot about dem perks like dat sweet box of noms I seed u wif der?

Well, when u a fancy schmancy influencer likes me wif good Klout scores u gets perks (up until now dey hab been kinda lame…like a free video on demand from da cable company dat I had to jump thru so many hopes to try n get and redeem it wuz no worth it or a subscription to Red Bull’s magazine….not my bag baby!) BUT NOMS! U GIB ME NOMS N I SIGNED RITE UP FOR DEM.

I wuz honestly expectin to gets a lil bitty trail size of sumfin. Wif ma poopin problems I have to stays on my regular food (even iffen it not da bestest in da werld) and dem monsters dunt wanna eats much of nuffin (dey waste so much foods). So dis big bag went right over to da shelter kitties cause dey using Science Diet and it is expensive so I knows dem kitties appreciates it even more den I can sez.

Fanks u Klout and Hills Science Diet! Da red dot got played wif as soon as the food were dropped off at the shelter!

If you are a regular follower of my webby page, facebook page or twitter account u already knows me and ma humanz r LEGO maniacs (remember when dat used to be a thing). Any who I gots a copy of the LEGO Space book from No Starch Press to gib to one of u lucky bums for SCIFIpawty. But instead of just gibbin it away as a door prize howz about we runs a lil giveaway here on da bloggy?

You are gonna lubs dis book. It iz filled with pawsum ideas on makin spaceships, space docks and habitats but it iz so much more den just an idea book (although it does indeed give you ideas and even instructions). LEGO Space is a science fiction story being told with words and scenes set out of LEGO bricks. Raise your paw if your human reads books to you?

*raises paw* My human reads to me. I like listen to herz read out loud to me.

It started awhile back and now I have quite the collection of children’s books that are actually mine. So maybe I should say dey are kitteh books? Any who, we decided we’re gonna read some books and write some reviews. You hab already seen sum of my reviews and even one dat has a bit about me in it. So expect to be seeing more booky reviews popping up on my site (when I find a good one that I like and human2 has da time to read it to me.

Up now is a sweet little book about friendship. [amazon_link id=”1623701147″ target=”_blank” ]Eddie and Dog by Alison Brown[/amazon_link] is a beary short story filled with good illustrations that tells of a boys desire for some adventures and a pal to share dem wif. Eddie meets dog and the adventures begin or do they?

Scooby Doo isn’t da only Great Dane that can solve mysteries! Honey is a big, sweet, slobbery Dane with a sense of adventure and a nose for mysteries. In her first book she teams up with her dog park pals to defeat somefin dark and evil dat is stealing puppies!

I like how da book tries to break the Pit Bull stereotype and makes dem out to be da big smoochie dogs dey are. I wasn’t so sure about da treatment of cats in da book at first but at least, unlike Hollywood, we are not made out to be the bad guys either (we may even be thought of as superior to the doggies, but I digress).

I don’t wanna gib too much away. It is a good book and I think you will enjoy it no matter how old u are.

Sadly, da real life Honey did cross over the rainbow bridge dis past January, but herz will live on in all our imaginations with this wunnerful book series. I am told book two is also available now (just came out last week I believe).

I hab been over at CardfromCats.com making ecards and habbin a pawsum fun time. Dey just got started up but dey still hab plenty to choose from wif new content comin all da time. Being da scifi geek & nerdy kitteh dat I am I got der just in time. We watched The Cosmos last night on FOX (it is on agin tonite on Nation Geographic channel too) and they hab a bunch of CATSMOS and MEOWTER SPACE cards you can make and send to friends. You can share on twitter, facebook and pinterest too.

Da service is fun and silly kinda like Jib Jab, but cheaper (only $10 per year), ders no videos it iz just e-cards. Oh and da best part about membership iz dat 10% of da profits go to animal shelters. So u gets to halp out needy anipals while habbin fun!

Right now, dem CATMOS cards r free (and dey habbin a contesty dat could score u a free membership….der be more chances to win free memberships comin up later in ma post so keep on readin).

It iz so easy to makes a card. Da interface iz easy n u edit da photo right when u making da card. First, pick ur CATegory and choose ur card design.

Noticed how I picked da MOOVIES wif all da cool scifi stuffs? MOL

Den u just uploading ur photo into der site and use da ERASE tool to get rid of da background. When u cleaned up ur photo u can save it to ur PC and use it agin and agin makin different cards! It savings da file az a transparent PNG file.

We are not very good wif da erasing tool (too used to makin paths n such in photoshop). But guess wot? U can removes ur background in photoshop (or wotever) and savin it az a PNG file den upload dat into da site and u gots card! Just position, resize, tilt, add extra clipart or text and away u goes!

Derz a CATMUNITY where u share ur cards n get to see utter peeps cards. Right now it iz full of BORIS KITTY cards. MOL

It is a new site so der some glitches, but dey r werkin on dem and dey appreciates it iffen u gib dem feedsback on problems u were habbin. I had a card dat would not let me add text, but it might hab been my slow wifi on my laptop cause next card I could add text n clipart. Da only real draw back I can see is da resize tool. It jumps up or down in set increments. It would be nice if it let u grab a corner n resize to actually fits into da image. Check out ma astronauts pikshurs. Ma hed iz either too small or too big. No just right fur dis baby bear.

I will be sharin ma cards on facebook, pinterest and twitter n I be interested in hearin wot u finks of dem, okai? Also I did hears from one of da hed humanz ovah at CardsfromCats.com dat der gonna be CardsfromDogs.com comin along real soon. This is a pawsum little board book for the furless kittens in ur life, ages 2-4. The book points out all da differences between cats and dogs, like dogs bark and cats meow. But all the differences in the world don’t mean a thing when your similarities top them all! Loving ur human! Board books r pawsum for little paws….er….hands but we only gots to see da ebook, which still had all da same great content and cute, colorful cat & dog images. Beary cute book.

5th Annual SCIFIpawty

Just can’t believe we have been helping out animals wit our little science fiction convention on Twitter for 5 (count em five) years now! 2014 marks the 5th Annual SCIFIpawty. This is just pawsum!

We are so excited for this years event. We are teaming up with NipClub this year to make #SCIFIpawty’s 5th year super pawsum by makin gthe pawty a 24 hour event and hopefully loads of fun stuffed into those 24 hours. We will once again have DJs, Barktenders and Security enforce throughout the event, but we will be able to expand our entertainment events thanks to the pawsum entertainment crew from NipClub.

Once again we will be booking our favorite bunny chef @ZACKRABBIT to give us a #SCIFIpawty edition of #CookingwifRabbits and hope to have a return visit from the #PAWFLEET group hosting a panel or two as well. Plus we hope to have special editions of both #CAYKCLUB and #KEEPFITS. Stay tuned for more information.

Just like last year I am extending a paw to ma foster monster sisfurs by dedicating dis years event to Tippy and Drizzle. Both of these precious kittehs lost their battle t FIP only a year ago and we miss them something awful. Dis past year we did adopt Phoebe & Piper, also from One By One Cat Rescue and boy are dey crazy.

What is SCIFIpawty? Quite simply, SCIFIpawty is the first and only virtual science fiction convention & party hosted by animals for animals on Twitter.com. There are DJs spinning our favorite tunes, bartenders offering up out of this world food & drinks (virtually of course), security (red shirts) to keep the spammers and scammers away, a costume contest, and quizmasters tasking us with fast paced, fun trivia with a chance to win door prizes. All this is achieved through the help of many wonderful volunteers and sponsors.

This event is used to raise awareness of animals in shelters, the need for adoption/rescue as well as raising much needed funds. Last year our event was able to raise over $1515 for the One By One Cat Rescue (This year let’s shoot for $2000). In the past 3 years we have raised over $4300 for animal rescues. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.

The 2014 5th Annual SCIFpawty proceeds will once again benefit One By One Cat Rescue in Kutztown, PA a no-kill, non-profit organization.
