IR Thermometer Ok so wot iz a kitty doing with an IR thermometer u might be asking? Well ghost hunting for one! MOL

I kid u, but really it iz an essential part of any would be ghost hunters tool kit, but it haz loads of other uses around da house too. You can measure the surface temp of ur stove top or even a layer of cooking oil to make sure da pan iz hot enough for da noms. It even haz some pet related uses too.

We used it to measure the temperature of the sidewalk in shade and bright sun on a hot day. Outside temperature was 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The sidewalk in the shade was 90 degrees and in the direct sun it was 111! No wonder dogs don’t wanna walk in da sun hot surfaces will burn da paws. (We will be reviewing a nice paw cream shortly).

We also measured da inside of Human2’s car. It 138 degrees in the car (now mind you this is the surface temperature of the car seat and as the photo shows herz wuz pointin at a shaded area…we would need a regular thermometer to measure the air temp inside the car, but we are sure it was even hotter). The outside of the car was 100 (I thought a black car in the sun would have been hotter). But now you know why it is so hard to touch your dash or steering wheel on a hot summer day.

Weather Kitty App

Weather kitty app told us the outside temp was 85 degrees.

Overall we liked how easy this was to use right out of the package. Just pop in the included battery and point the laser. O yes, did I forget to tell u it wuz laser guided?! Well u know wot dat means right? RED DOT!

While the red dot iz fun it iz helpful too. It tells u where u r pointing the thermometer (az u can see here r floor iz a comfy 76 degrees). When the Winter rolls around H2 iz going to use dis fing to point out all da cold comin in thru windows and round doors.
